On the 10th of December, at 5h30p.m., at Auditorium of Museu do Oriente, Lisbon, will be held a Celebratory Ceremony of the Human Rights Day. In 2018 is celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the signature of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, by the United Nations, with the High Patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic.

Opening session by Mr. Carlos Monjardino and interventions from the President of the Portuguese Human Rights League – Civitas, Mr. Vitor Graça, of PhD Vital Moreira, the Commissar to the Celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and of the 40 years of Portugal’s adhesion to European Convention on Human Rights Former President of the Republic Mr. Jorge Sampaio will present a tribute to Mr. António Arnaut and deliver a Badge of Honor from the Portuguese Human Rights League – Civitas to the family by President of the National Plenary of the League, Mr. Fernando Lima.

The cultural moment will be held by CoupleCoffee (Luanda Cozetti and Norton Daiello), Fernando Tordo, João Lara and Escola Flamenco (Alejandra Gutkin and Sónia Peres), Netas de Bibinha Cabral, Paulo Matos and Teresa Palma Pereira.
