The Portuguese Human Rights League – Civitas commiserates with the victims of the catastrophe provoked by cyclone Idai in Mozambique. For the paramountcy of the life, housing, health and food rights, we send our feeling of fraternity to the brotherly people of Mozambique.
International Community has to aid Mozambique and the League will make use of its international and national contacts with its liaison bodies to spread this request and try to raise as much aid as possible. We all should combine efforts in this urgent and needed aid.
The League is going to cooperate with the Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa (Portuguese Red Cross), already in the field, aiming to channel funds to aid where needed the population and the Country.
