The Portuguese Human Rights League \u2013 Civitas, passes on the information released by the United Nations Human Rights Committee, which will meet in March 2020, to review the situation in Portugal concerning the implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).<\/p>\n\n

NGOs shall submit in written information on the implementation of this International Covenant in Portugal until the 3rd of February 2020.<\/p>\n\n

Due to the general low participation of private entities in this type of procedures and the importance of active participation of the Civil Society to a more adequate analysis of the Portuguese situation the Portuguese League appeals to the participation in this mechanism.<\/p>\n\n
